  • Overview

    The Regional Correspondent Sales Manager will build strong customer relationships and increase sales volume by building, and growing their customer base. The main focus will be on customer satisfaction and retention that will result in increased loan production via quality sales calls and pipeline management.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide superior customer service to our customers.
    • Maintain and develop mutually beneficial Correspondent relationships.
    • Develop and Manage a Multi-State Region.
    • Develop an Acceptable sales and growth plan.
    • Coordinate and Participate with the onboarding and training of all new Correspondent Customers.
    • Manage their Customer base to assure that the quality of loans files being delivered are acceptable, Pull Through Ratios, Follow-up Docs, and Delinquency ratios meet PHL guidelines. 
    • Maintain daily workflow prioritization, and communicate accordingly, to ensure all urgent matters are dealt with.
    • Resolve problems and questions with Correspondent Customers and Operations.
    • Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry.
    • Maintain compliance with the Planet Home Lending LLC Code of Conduct.
    • Attendance at Regional and National Trade shows will be required.
    • Position will require up to 75% travel.
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    • Minimum Five years of correspondent sales experience.
    • College degree or equivalent work experience
    • A solid understanding of the mortgage origination and delivery process
    • Prior Regional Correspondent experience preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly connect with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
    • Proven persuasive, selling & communication skills
    • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate careful decision-making skills
    • Ability to work independently
