The Inside Sales Manager will develop relationships with Emerging Banker loan customers in order to provide valuable advice about our products, rates, fees and analysis. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with emerging bankers in their assigned territory; providing a continuous flow of new customers and mortgage volumes in order to produce funded loans and increase revenue. The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with their partners on the correspondent sales within their territory to assure open communication and coordinate all efforts at growing their respective customer bases.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Solicit, establish and maintain Emerging Banker relationships. Work closely with their Correspondent partners to help build a strong customer base throughout their respective territories. Coordinate & manage relationship between Planet Home Lending Correspondent and its customers. 
  • Present loan products, pricing, points of contacts, etc. and communicate how Planet Home Lending Correspondent does business with prospective and existing customers. Speak, correspond and visit accounts on a routine basis. Train Emerging Bankers on loan submission and fulfillment process. Set expectations and understanding of loan process for submission, underwriting, locks, closing and funding.
  • Manage sales pipeline. Assist with the SSR and operations in resolving customer questions and issues. Communicate and interact with loan Operations as necessary to ensure desired production results or that proper customer service was delivered. Manage customer performance to desired levels. Conduct presentations to  prospective and existing Emerging Banker customers on products and programs that are offered by Planet Home Lending
  • Attend Trade Shows & seminars from time to time.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in outside Wholesale Sales.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent presentation, listening and judgment.
  • Experience in account management calling on financial institutions in Wholesale capacity.
  • Candidates must present the drive, ability and willingness to help grow Planet Home Lending as a company.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think outside of the box
