The Trainer will be responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all Retail Operations employees. Training will be conducted through webinars, classroom and self-paced internet training.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver training of various topics to new hires as well as veteran employees.
  • Develop and design training material in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SME) within the Organization to ensure quality and accuracy of the training program.
  • Ensure consistent training record entry into the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain training materials updated as required.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of combined work experience in the mortgage operations industries
  • Minimum of two (2) years presenting/training experience
  • Experience developing and/or delivering web-based training/e-learning preferred
  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Adobe Connect experience a plus
  • Experience with Captivate or other e-learning tools a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and public-speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Works well under strict time lines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment through positive, collaborative interactions
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and work independently
  • Demonstrated strong project management and organization skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to travel when business needs dictate
